Leadership in Livingston
Lori Elder Burnett
City of Livingston Mayor
Welcome! I’m Lori Elder Burnett, and I am honored to serve as the first female mayor of Livingston. I’m deeply committed to this incredible community, which has been my family's home for so many years.
I started my career as a physical therapist after graduating from the University of Tennessee in Memphis. Since 1988, I have been dedicated to healthcare and business development. My husband, Don, and I married in 2007, and together, we’ve raised our three wonderful sons right here in Livingston, where we’ve made memories and grown to appreciate the values, sense of community, and family focus that make our town special.
My involvement on the Chamber of Commerce board allowed me to see firsthand the potential our town has to grow and thrive while preserving its unique character, inspiring me to run for mayor. I am passionate about the livelihood of our town square, which serves as the heart of our community and a gathering place for us all.
As your mayor, I am committed to listening, collaborating, and working hard to ensure Livingston remains a wonderful place to live, work, and raise a family. Thank you for trusting me with this responsibility, and I look forward to all we will accomplish together.
Sincerely,
Lori Elder Burnett
